Karakuls listed in these classifieds are from member breeders who register their sheep with the American Karakul Sheep Registry (AKSR), which is the only recognized registry for Karakuls in the United States.  Interested buyers should insure that the sheep they wish to buy have been registered or are eligible to be registered with AKSR.  To be eligible for registration with AKSR, the sire and dam must be registered with AKSR.
